A late 19th century English oversize black lacquered papier mache tray table, centering a stylized chinoiserie pavillion (Brighton) in mother-of pearl, incorporating palm tree motifs w/gilt highlights. On a custom, fitted black lacquered table base w/faux bamboo design. 20.4 inches high x 36 inches wide x 28.25 inches deep. A fine footed Mukozuke with an underglaze design of a lakeside landscape with hills in the background and two small boats in the lake. The border is done in the brocade patterns known as nishidike. The raised foot has classic Nabeshima style vertical lines and the underside of the scroll has small designs of foothills. Four character mark on the base reads Hirado Kasho Good Omen. See page 146, plate 12 in the standard Hirado reference book by Louis Lawrence Hirado, Prince of Porcelains Encyclopedia of Art Series, 1997. Mid Meiji. Measures 6 and three eighth inches wide at top, 5 and seven eighths inches wide at bottom and is 1 one half inches high at its highest. Early American country pine work table with sliding drawer c1830. This early country furniture piece has two wide top boards and original finish. Measures 60 inches wide by 30 inches deep and 30 inches high. The drawer measures 5 and one half inches high by 40 inches wide and is quite unusual because it slides through on either side on wood rollers. Deep rich old patina. American Federal style mahogany wall mirror c1870. This hanging wall mirror is in excellent original condition. Gesso over wood will gold Florentine gilt ornamentation. The top has an eagle perched on rocks. The frame is mahogany. Measures 41 inches tall overall, 19 and one half inches wide, and 1 and one half inches thick. Ten Haviland and Company L mark set of 11 Limoges floral painted plates c1888 to 1896. This antique set of ten Limoges plates were each hand painted with a different flower design. They measure 8 and one half inches each. There is minor gold leaf loss on the side edges of some of the plates, but no cracks, chips, repairs or breaks.
