COBURG JE flow blue pitcher and bowl ironstone transferware wash basin set. This rare picture and bowl set is matching, dates from the middle of the 19th century. Ironstone transfer pieces with deep rich cobalt that flows like this set does are very much in demand. The pitcher measures 13 inches high and the bowl is 14 and one half inches across. There is damage to the set. The pitchers top left side was broken and poorly repaired years ago. There are no missing pieces but it would have to be professionally repaired. The break goes down 2 and one half inches across 4 inches and then back up to the top. We show this in the pictures provide. The bowl has a crack that runs down 4 and one half inches and across the side another five inches. This would also need professional repair. WE WILL NOT PACK OR ALLOW A RETURN ON THIS ITEM! so please view the pictures carefully.It will also have to be packed and shipped by a UPS store. We hardly ever sell damaged pieces but the flow is so strong and the set so rare that we are offering it AS IS ! FOR A VERY LOW PRICE.
