Victorian walnut and birdseye maple hanging mirror c1870. This antique American Victorian mirror was made from solid black walnut with inset a insert of birdseye maple that is carved with a grape leaf design and a gold leafed interior frame. There frame is inset with a banded ebonized molding. The frame measures 3 inches thick by 5 inches wide. The over all measurements are 49 and one quarter inches by 42 and one half inches. This 18th century antique brass snuff box measures 2 and three quarters inches long by 1 and seven eighths inches wide and is 1 and one quarter inches high. Made circa 1780 to 1810 of brass and iridescent mother of pearl shell. Probably English. The top is hinged, and the inside of the bottom panel is engraved "Martha Hosmer". The top and each side panel is minutely engraved with utmost precision and delicacy.This can be seen in the thumbnail images. Shipping extra.
