Centennial mahogany Chippendale style partners desk c1875. This partners desk has drawers on one side and faux drawers on the other. Each of the five drawers has large hand cut dovetails. The entire desk was made from beautiful solid mahogany. The gadrooned edge is hand cut not applied. The four legs have carved knees ending in well executed carved ball and claw feet. This is just a stunning desk in excellent condition. Measures 54 inches wide by 32 inches deep and 30 inches high. Hanley) and the name of her house in Wiscasset, Maine, "Villa Hanley". She also lived in Via Benova, Boston, MA. The table is a very unusual size. It measures 59 and one half inches wide by 35 and one half inches deep and 29 inches high, and seats 6. This is a very fine quality piece of hand made American furniture.
