R J Horner lady's inlaid drop front desk. This "RJ Horner" ladys desk is in excellent original condition. The lid is inlaid with ivory,brass and satin wood. The desk is made from solid mahogany. This is one of the finest examples of R J Horners work. The drawers are all solid mahogany and made with large hand cut dovetails. The little interior drawers are hand dovetailed as well. Measures 41 inches high by 28 and one half inches wide and 17 inches deep. It is 28 and one half inches to the top of the writing surface when the lid is down. The original label is on the reverse which says R J Horner Furniture Makers 61,62,63, West 23rd Street NY. The condition is excellent with the exception of the original leather on the writing surface. This is well worn. We did not want to replace this because it has a wonderful old original look that many of our clients like but it could be replace very inexpensively if a buyer wants a fresh new leather look. Lovely antique walnut Victorian center table with original oval white (some very minor use stains) top. The top has a nice wide hand cut walnut skirt with four decorative drop moldings. The solid walnut bulbous center turning on the base has four very fine open cut legs that perfectly frame the piece and give it graceful proportions. Attributed to Thomas Brooks, NYC. All original including the finish and the brass castors.Circa 1860. Measures 33 inches wide and 29 inches high. This table is large enough to be used as a breakfast table as well as a center or lamp table. American Victorian at its best. Shipping extra. Macey Oak sectional stacking oak leaded door bookcase c1900.They are also called Barrister bookcases. This Victorian oak bookcase is made of four sections, each stacks on top of one another and locks in for a strong fit. This bookcase was made from solid American oak and measures 59 inches high, 34 and one half inches wide, 9 and one have inches deep at three sections and 14 and one half inches deep at the bottom section. Three sections are 10 and one half inches high and the other one is 14 and one half inches high. Retains all its original beveled clear leaded glass. Pair American aesthetic movement ebonzied window treatments made by Kimbel and Cabus New York City c1880. Each of this matching pair of ebonized window treatments measures 62 inches wide at its widest part. The brackets that hold it to the wall are 59 and three quarters inches outside to outside, 5 and one half inches deep and 15 inches high. The overall high is 20 inches at center. Adirondack hickory lodge furniture set consisting of a table, rocker and two chairs c1890. This Adirondack furniture was made from Hickory and was used in the lodges in up state New York during the late 19th century. People would travel to these lodges to get away for the heat of the city. This type of Hickory furniture was made from the Hickory trees in that area and proved to be quite strong and could withstand the different temperature changes that existed when the lodges where closed up for the winter months. Today this furniture is prized by collectors. The condition of this set is very good, strong, comfortable and not loose in any way. The quality of these antique pieces so so far superior to present day reproductions. The table measures 36 inches across and 28 inches high. The two chairs each measure 36 and one half inches to the top of their backs, 27 inches to the tops of their arms, 20 inches wide and 17 inches to the seat. The rocker measures 33 and one half inches to the top of its back, 17 inches to the seat, 20 inches deep and 27 inches to the top of its arm. Shipping extra.
