Early Spanish Hispanic Furniture. This 17th century antique "Catalan walnut dining table" is in excellent condition with just a few minor repairs done during its 300 year lifespan. First quarter of the 17th century. This early antique Catalan table was made from solid walnut. The original top is amazing single walnut board. The original iron braces end in hand forged leaves. The legs have wonderful hand carved decorative detail. This is a very rare piece of Spanish furniture. This table measures 55 inches long by 33 and three quarter inches deep and 32 and one quarter inches high. The top is an astounding two inches thick and the leg supports have huge floating dovetails that go all across the underside. This dovetailed joint has kept the top perfectly flat over 3 centuries. Antique early Irish furniture pine milk bench c1820 to 1840. This is a superb piece of true period antique Irish pine. It has a wonderful old waxed finish, and is in great condition. The top is made from two wide boards.The frame has mortise and pin construction, and there are wide hand cut dovetails on the back board and drawer sides. This form is quite rare and it is the only one we have ever had the opportunity to offer. It measures 61 inches wide, 27 and one half inches deep, 30 and one half inches to the the work surface, 35 and one half inches to the top of the backsplash, 7 inches to the bottom rack surface. There are 12 inches between the rack and the apron below the drawers. One drawer is 31 and one half by 7 inches, and two drawers are 9 by 7 inches. The back of the milk bench is finished so it could be attractively used as an island in the center of a kitchen. The top is a great work surface, and the milk rack is perfect for crockery and copper pots. It would also work beautifully in a potting room for arranging flowers. Shipping extra. 17th century south German marquetry chest. This exceptional late Renaissance coffer features extensive marquetry inlay. A central panel depicting Justice is flanked by town and village scenes within architectural frames, and 4 full carved figures. The original interior is fitted with drawers, till, and has a finely engraved lock and hinges. Iron handles on each side. Small losses to moldings.
