American impressionist oil on canvas of Boston construction scene titled Morning Haze by John Terelak c1988. This painting depicts men working along side a crane at a construction site. This well executed painting measures 30 by 40 inches inside its original frame that measures 40 and one half inches by 49 inches. This painting has a Mongerson Wunderlich Chicago Illinois gallery sticker on its reverse.John Charles Terelak is recognized as one of America's finest living impressionists. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he received formal art instruction at the Vesper George School of Fine Art. Terelak's love of paint and canvas and his thorough understanding of color theory and paint technique eventually led him to become Headmaster of the Gloucester Academy of Fine Art. He is also a past President of The New England Watercolor Society. His paintings are included in thousands of private and public collections throughout the United States. "Jean Pierre Serrier" of a very important 20th century French painter that has had several of his pictures published on many fine art magazines, along with Newsweek and Time. Cecile Dreesmann Aladdins Garden Needle Sculpture. This Needle Sculpture was made with Rosequartz, Tourmaline, Mother of Pearl, Rhodonite, Grossular, Freshwater Pearls and Gold. Measures 15 inches by 25 inches. Cecile Dreesmann was born and raised in Amsterdam Holland. Exhibited in Brussels, Hamburg, Cape Town, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Honolulu, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco, Palm Beach "The Potted Orange" Gallery, Hammond Museum NY, England, Canada, Mexico, Holland, Paris, and Germany. When she held a two week exhibition in picturesque Laren, just outside of Amsterdam 12,000 people came and it was a complete sell out. H. R. H. Prince Bernhard spent several hours at the exhibition, followed a few days later by his daughter the Crown Princess Beatrix, both collectors of Miss Dreemanns work. She authored countless books and articles on embroidery and related subjects. The precious and semi precious stones are all set in gold and cut to her specifications,drilled and or set so that the could be stitched on the background material,which was woven especially for her in Italy. She received Knighthood in the Order of Oranje Nassau,conferred upon her by H. M. Queen Juliana of the Netherlands. Shipping extra.
