A Marchand French oil on canvas c1900. This interior scene depicts a gentleman talking with two ladies. This painting is done in the 18th century style. The painting is framed in a wonderful of the period gold leaf frame. Andre Marchand was born in Paris on November 22 1877 and died April 18 1945. See E Benezit page 162 to learn more about the artist. The frame measures 36 by 40 and one half inches and the painting measures 31 by 25 inches. Excellent condition. Shipping extra.
