Oded Halahmy bronze sculpture,Oded Halahmy began painting and sculpting at age 13 in Iraq, where he was born. His family settled in Israel in 1951 where he continued his craft. His father was a goldsmith and he supported Oded's talent. His love for bronze comes from watching his father create objects from gold and silver. See "The Common Ground. Unsigned pair of Luke Gwilliam bronze sculptures of nude male torsos c1960 to 1970. Luke Guilliam was born 1911 and died in 1989. Gwilliam joined the New York art scene in 1951 after graduating from Worchester Art Museum when he was forty years old. His paintings were very well received in the 1950 and 1960's,often mentioned in the New York Times exhibit reviews. He was included in museum exhibits at the River Museum, Whitney Museum of American Art, the Society of Four Arts, and the Brooklyn Museum.
