This is an exceptional piece of "campaign literature" from the 1936 election. It contains statistics on bank failures between 1912 and 1936 emphasizing that during the New Deal Roosevelt administration bank failures had fallen dramatically. This is a rare piece of political memorabilia from a former age. The piece of political memorabilia has been custom framed and matted, ready to hang, as part of your collection of antique paper, antique documents, or political memorabilia. The condition is very good. There are no tears or chips, but the piece was once folded. There are slight discolorations on two of the folds. The matte is a blue gray that blends with any decor. Peter Helck Vintage automobile memorabilia,This Watercolour painted and signed by "Helck" of Nazzaro in his automobile most probably is depicting him in a Fiat during the 1907 automobile race "The Targa Florio" a race during the Sicilian Monte Carlo a period of horsemanship,motor boating, pigeon shooting, fencing etc for the wealthy gentlemen sportsmen of the day. Helcks watercolors are the most prized of automobile memorabilia collectors. This watercolor measures nine inches by six and one half inches with a sixteen by nineteen inch frame.See page 230 of Great Auto Races as Told by and Painted by Peter Helck where this image was used as one of the illustrations in the book. Overland Car photograph of a group of Overland Car Salesman c1925. This vintage photograph depicts 15 Overland Car salesman in front of an Overland car that is in front of the Overland car show room. The sign above states that the car is only $595 and it has a starter and lights, Duco Finish, Demountable Rims and is a 5 Passenger Sedan. The frame measures 22 and three quarters inches by 20 inches and the photograph measures 19 and one half inches by 15 and one quarter inches. Very good condition without any fading or blemishes. It was hard to photograph this photograph because of the glass reflection which makes areas of the photo look washed out. It is a very strong print with crisp detail. Shipping extra. Antique German silver Fiat racing trophy circa 1899. This "Fiat" car racing trophy dates from 1899 and was made from solid 800 German silver. This antique car memorabilia silver trophy measures 5 and one half inches long and 3 and one quarter inches high.
This piece was given to Felice Nazarro, a very famous race driver and friend of Enzo Ferrari. It was a gift of the Fiat Car Co. and given in roughly 1910. It was purchased directly from Nazarro's daughter several years ago.
The Fiat Car Co. was founded in 1899. Very few of these silver pieces were commissioned, and given to important people such as Nazarro as he successfully raced Fiats in the 1908 Circuit di Bologna against his friend, Enzo Ferrari.
This piece was not given in 1899, but commemorates the start of the company in 1899.Just in from a very important vintage automobile memorabilia collection. Shipping extra. This Gorham silver trophy measures 12 and one half inches wide from handle to handle and stands 12 inches tall. The top is 7 and three quarter inches in diameter at top and the base measures 6 and one quarter inches in diameter. Inscribed is Second Annual Herald Sociability Run, Saturday, September 24, 1910. Peter Helck ink etching automobile race. This original "Peter Helck" scratched etching depicts a driver racing his vintage automobile. The process to make this art piece is quite unique. The artist applies ink that he then scratches off the surface to create the image. This original Helck art piece dates from the early 20th century and measures 9 inches by 6 and one quarter inches. The frame measures 19 and one quarter inches by 16 and three eighths inches.
