Continuation of Title Madison Square Twenty Six Ward Philadelphia. This pamphlet was published by William P Kildare os 734 736 Sansom Street in Philadelphia in 1872. Shows sixty four lots on the North and South sides of Madison Square between Twenty second and Twenty fourth Streets. Also Catherine, Christian, Twenty Third, Forth, Madison Square, and Twenty second streets. Some loss to the end of the map inside which we show in the photographs. Measures 8 and three quarters by five and one half inches.Total of 21 pages with extra blank pages for notes. Shipping extra. The Fancy or True Sportsmans guide by an Operator,This book"The Fancy" has a forward by George Plimpton and Etchings and drawings by Randy Jones.Published by Imprint Society Barre Massachusetts in 1972.Nineteen hundred and fifty copies of Selections from The Fancy have been printed for the members of the Imprint Society by the Press of A Colish In mount Vernon New York. The text was composed in English Monotype Bell. The paper is Curtis Rag Laid text. The illustrations and the original etching,which is laid in,are by Randy Jones. The book was designed by Bert Clarke, and bound by Publishers Book Bindery, in Long Island City, New York. Signed in pen by Randy Jones, number 9. Rare pre American revolution era receipt for services from Newport Rhode Island September 24 1745 by Francis Brinley the second. Measures 5 and one half inches by three and one quarter inches.The Brinley Family were well ensconced among the social and political elite of colonial New England. Connected by marriage to other elite families in Rhode Island and Massachusetts the Auchmutys, Craddocks, and Tyngs among them the Brinleys were refined, highly educated, public spirited, and most often business-minded.
