This Studio furniture modern birdseye maple and walnut coffee table is the best we have ever seen. The legs are made from solid birdseye maple and the top from solid clear blank walnut. This coffee table is very dramatic. The top looks like wings or sails. We seriously doubt there is another one, this is truly one of a kind. It has some writing on the bottom which mentions it being given as a gift in 1988. Measures 57 and one quarter inches wide from tip of leg to tip of leg and 25 inches deep. Shipping extra. Vintage matched set of twelve Thonet modern maple bentwood side chairs c1950 to 1960 just in from a CT estate. Each chair is very strong and comfortable. The design allows the back to have a slight spring which makes the chairs very easy to sit in for long periods of time. The original Thonet paper labels (1 Park Ave NY) are under most of the chairs. Each chair measures 32 inches to the top of its back, 17 inches to the top of its seat, 15 inches wide and deep. Shipping extra. Late 20th century estate English George III style handmade Elm Dresser. This piece of English furniture came to us from an important local estate. Bench made in two pieces with wooden pin construction from solid elm, great attention to detail. Multiple hand dovetailed drawers, top plate racks, base pull outs and deep rich hand waxed patina.This is as close to a period example in quality and craftsmanship as you will find. We only sell reproduction or vintage pieces when they are this quality. Measures 84 and one half inches tall, 20 inches deep at the base, 32 inches to the top of the base and 66 inches wide. Country pumpkin pine hand made hand hewed and pinned side table made from antique pine.This wonderful hand made hand hewed farm house table was made from a single wide 18th century pine board and has straight tapered legs, bread board ends and wooden pin construction. Hand made by a local master craftsman that has agreed to painstakingly make hand made tables in the early American 18th century manner. These are tables who's size and quality and design we can just not find in our daily searches for fine antiques. They are made by hand with antique block planes which give that lovely hand hewed look. Each tables size is determined by the size of the 18th century board we find, no two will be the same. Early boards have the most beautiful deep rich patina which simply can not be duplicated with new boards. The top board retains all its original wear and old marks which gives it the true period look that is the most desirable. This table measures 65 inches long, 20 inches deep,and 29 inches high. Marcel Breuer chrome chair and footrest, made by Thonet c1925. This is an original chair and footrest by the famous designer "Marcel Breuer" in original condition including fabric. Marcel Lajos Breuer was born in Pécs, Hungary in 1902.Thanks to the innovative aluminum, tubular steel and plywood pieces he designed first at the Bauhaus in 1920s Germany and then as an émigré in 1930s. This set has never been re chromed. This set is for a museum or advanced Modern furniture collector, not meant for personal use.
