Antique Six Panel Silk Thread Korean Screen. This antique Korean silk screen has six panels, each measuring 17 and one half inches wide and 60 inches tall. primarily on scroll printed paper, most likely rice paper in a wooden frame with black silk panels, hand embroidered with multicolored silk threads with different Korean symbols with a white paper backing, probably rice paper. Brass corners and fittings. This was given as a gift to the American Ambassador to South Korea from the early 1960's. It was presented to him by the S. Korean President. Antique African Ivory Coast Baga Headdress and stand. This African sculpture "Baga" Headdress comes from the Guinea Conakry are of Africa and is carved from a single piece of wood and had a carved solid block stand. The Headdress measures 38 inches long and 17 and one half inches high with its stand.The patina is quite wonderful with an original dry old patina with some white wash in areas. Oceanic art African tribal cast brass figure of a woman. The woman is holding two disks with what look like small eggs. One disc is being held horizontally, and the other vertically.
