This set of "georgian silver spoons with sifter" comes in its original case. The engraved silver spoons measure 8 and one half inches and the sifter measures 7 inches. The two spoons, London 1776-7 by Geo. Smith and the sifter, London 1828-9 by Wm. Stevenson. This Sterling silver "toilet set" measures 27 inches wide by 19 and one half inches deep by 10 inches high.There are four blown glass decanters covered boxes candlesticks Sterling dishes,mirrors,there are seventeen pieces of sterling silver on top with another compartmented section with combs,brushes,covered boxes,and many other accessories all with solid 18k yellow gold Crown monograms. The box is solid oak retaining its original recessed hardware and key.Aucoc was established in the beginning of the 19th century and was the favorite jewelry and silver supplier to the house of King Louis Philippe,the family of Orleans and also Napoleon lll also Empress Eugenie. The family of Aucoc sold the business in 1932. Aucoc was located at 6 rue de La Paix the premier location in Paris.They were with out question the Tiffany's of France. This set is in excellent original condition. South America silver,Argentina South American Sterling Silver Basin. This sterling silver or higher bowl is truly exquisite. The bowl is all hand hammered and the handles are cast silver. This along with some other pieces were brought back from Argentina in the 1950 to 1960 period and date from 1930 to 1950. This center piece bowl measures 9 inches round and 13 and one quarter inches across both handles and 3 and three eights inches high.This bowl is hallmarked and weighs 611 grams. There is a monogram on its face with looks more like design than a monogram. This is truly a work of art done by a master craftsman. Shipping extra. Hand made sterling silver letter opener by Leonore Doskow,"Leonore Doskow" This solid sterling silver letter opener is monogrammed SG and measures 11 and three quarters inches long by 7 eighths inches wide and weighs 88 grams.She and her husband owned and operated Leonore Doskow, Inc., a jewelry company selling to upscale stores around the country, from 1935 until the 1980s, when her son and his wife took over. It is headquartered in Montrose NY and still produces Doskow’s original designs.In 1932, she won a scholarship to study art history at the Sorbonne for a summer. When she returned, she opened a shop on 17th Street in Center City, Philadelphia.

Antique Silver Car pocket watch, this pocket watch depicts a couple motoring along the country side. This watch was most probably made for the first motor show which was held in Paris in 1895. There is reference to this silver pocket watch on page 15 of Art and The Automobile by D B Tubbs c1978. Automobile memorabilia from this period is quite rare. This watch runs well. Antique German silver Fiat racing trophy circa 1899. This "Fiat" car racing trophy dates from 1899 and was made from solid 800 German silver. This antique car memorabilia silver trophy measures 5 and one half inches long and 3 and one quarter inches high.
This piece was given to Felice Nazarro, a very famous race driver and friend of Enzo Ferrari. It was a gift of the Fiat Car Co. and given in roughly 1910. It was purchased directly from Nazarro's daughter several years ago.
The Fiat Car Co. was founded in 1899. Very few of these silver pieces were commissioned, and given to important people such as Nazarro as he successfully raced Fiats in the 1908 Circuit di Bologna against his friend, Enzo Ferrari.
This piece was not given in 1899, but commemorates the start of the company in 1899.Just in from a very important vintage automobile memorabilia collection. Shipping extra. Guglielmo Cini trained as a jewelry designer in Florence, Italy, and moved to the USA in 1922 and establishing his own jewelry business in Boston. This floral jewelry piece is an example example of his more detailed work with open hand pierce cut flowers. This open pierce cut design is one of the most difficult to make.
