Oded Halahmy began painting and sculpting at age 13 in Iraq, where he was born. His family settled in Israel in 1951 where he continued his craft. His father was a goldsmith and he supported Oded's talent. His love for bronze comes from watching his father create objects from gold and silver. See "The Common Ground.
