Studied art at Columbia University, Art Students League, Lyme School of Art,Edinburgh University,and the Florida State University. The Birds of Prey Painting series (which this is one of) have only been exhibited once in the past 45 years. This is the first time and place these paintings have been made available for purchase. When they were first exhibited they were only available for viewing not for sale. Richard Montross lives in CT.
