| Set of eight fine American Federal style wheat carved dining chairs c1880 to1900. A true set of eight hand made solid matched mahogany Federal style dining room chairs, consisting of two arm and six side chairs. Strong, comfortable and in pristine condition. This set is unsigned but the quality of Margolis, Nutting or Fineburg.They are Centennial copies of chairs made in Philadelphia or Baltimore in 1790 to 1800. The arm chairs each measure 38 and three quarter inches high, 18 and three quarter inches to the top of their upholstered seats,22 inches wide and 18 inches deep. The side chairs each measure 37 and three quarter inches high by 17 inches deep, 20 inches wide and 18 and three quarter inches to the top of their seats. Shipping extra.
