| 17th century south German marquetry chest. This exceptional late Renaissance coffer features extensive marquetry inlay. A central panel depicting Justice is flanked by town and village scenes within architectural frames, and 4 full carved figures. The original interior is fitted with drawers, till, and has a finely engraved lock and hinges. Iron handles on each side. Small losses to moldings.
